Hands-on learning
engaging the mind

Our mission is to enhance diversity within the biomedical sciences and clinical research workforce. We empower our students by using clinical simulations based on real-life scenarios making complicated molecular lab techniques more relatable. Students are exposed to these elements in a supportive and team oriented environment.

We got to practice pipetting! It’s good to strengthen my muscle memory.
The class is really fun.
We go to interact with an actual patient/actor instead of only viewing a patient profile.

LEAS LAB, founded in 2020, has sought to change how science is taught, and who gets access to, hands-on tech-based science experiments.

During the height of the pandemic, we ran programs remotely.

We’ve also been running programs at our learning lab in Massachusetts.

We are ready to provide in-person and virtual programs for students.

“This experience has allowed me to understand how important it is to relate what we learn in science classes to what that means in the world."

— Natasha, LEAS LAB student and intern
